Dragonfly Village is a outstanding Retreat Centre located inside of the beautiful nature in Ubud, Bali. BARC is a no-kill shelter providing vaccination, sterilization and other necessary medical assistance to all rescued animals. We operate a street sterilization program to help stop the relentless flow of unwanted puppies. Additionally we conduct education programs in the Balinese community.I had a pleasure opportunity here to run some of the position such as:* Public Relations - IndonesiaFocused on spreading the news about BARC and animal rights to community, I am making some of articles about animals health and rights in some magazines and local newspaper. On a daily time I am running the Facebook and Twitter profile to posting our daily activity and keep in touch with the public. On a big target I have to make an collaboration with companies, community and other organization to help us in financial way (or make an Fundraising) or public relation. It has been a long work to do this and I am so grateful that could participate, contribute and learning at the same time with the other amazing and beautiful people.*Education ProgramWe knew that to change local mindset and feeling about animals, education is the most powerfull way that could change it into a better way. I made a target to visit local and international school in Bali to get visited by our team and had a quick 3-4hours session time there in a long-term collaboration. We were doing it at least about 3-4 times a week and based on our work, there is a good result and feedback from the kids that knew animals is has a same feeling and rights as human had.*Supervisor Our amazing local team has been continuing working hard with a lot of pressure. Besides that, our work is based on the pressure and job list either it's daily or monthly. I am controlling and supervising the staff with the help from local manager, Made to keep our work sustainable but improving it step by step. On that moment we had 3 location in Ubud and I am in charge to following and supervising the staffs. It has been a pleasure for me.
