In this role, I mainly worked on intensive, 3-week summer programs for groups of up to 80 Japanese university students. As a classroom monitor, I mostly executed activities and tours around Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto with other monitors, as well as assisted teachers during classroom activities. As a residence monitor, I stayed at the student residence and assisted in handling issues, complaints, and concerns in both English and Japanese, to ensure the students' smooth transition into Montreal. I also assisted with the preparation of daily activities, organized and led day tours, participated actively in team meetings, and communicated and worked collaboratively with all stakeholders to deliver successful programs.

LbE Japan creates, manages, and leads global education programs for students, and actively creates opportunities for collaboration between international and Japanese students by partnering with various schools in Japan. Through their projects, they aim to foster global mindset/skills (knowledge, attitude, values, skills), 21st century skills (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, creativity), and English proficiency skills. I was hired to assist in projects for the Global Village and USA Summer Camp programs, where I planned, managed, and executed 3-day camps in various locations in Japan for Japanese students, while organizing the travel and accommodation of international students from Asia and the United States. Through using my language skills in both English and Japanese, I flawlessly executed each of these projects while working collaboratively with colleagues from both Japan and abroad.
