Riksbyggen is a building developer and maintenance company. Approximately 450 000 people live in buildings that Riksbyggen maintains and we are the fourth largest building developer in Sweden. Riksbyggen is also contracted by some of the largest commercial estate owners with the responsibility for their technical maintenance. Riksbyggen has a Home Saving service (BoSpar) with approximately 30 000 customers. The organization is national with 340 sites and 2500 employees and a turnover of 4.5 billion SEK in 2011. IT-strategist and part owner of all infrastructureI worked with several different very strategic projects - including the development of an internal cost control framework, migration of nation critical OS2200 applications and future designs of both hardware and software architecture. Responsible for an annual budget of 600+ milj SEK.

SKV testing unit, for which I was responsible, consisted of 38 employees. The department main task was to test and certified all applications before launch and keep the testing environment as production like as possible to a minimal cost. The tests included ordinary client side function testing, deep probing performance tests, test automation and finally acceptance tests. My main driver as head of testing was to internally sell, promote and ensure that the testing department should grow since the main organization (SKV) actually saved money and improved quality-wise. Just before I left for new assignments at the IT Board the department got a green light on expanding to 46 employees.

In charge of the 24 employees at application operations. Main tasks was to ensure that all systems, batches and in/outbound data transactions performed as supposed. Systems ran on multiple platforms such as windows, unix, IBM390/ZOS and OS2200/UNISYS.
