Maintain and create a global library of 22,000 electronic component parts, schematic symbols and map files for use in creation of Electrical Printed Circuit Boards utilizing Mentor Graphics on Unix.-Promoted lean engineering including Compliant Pin, Pin in Paste, Retention fit and Pb-free solder process part components reducing circuit board costs and improving reliability.-Created intelligent component part cells for the new development of the upcoming technology for Hybrid Battery Power Electronics allowing faster design time for electrical designers.-Maintained legacy process while championing the new common process to allow for a seamless transition.-Supported, trained and interfaced with global design centers including Mexico, China, England, Singapore and Germany improving the reliability of the offshore design centers and supporting the local customer manufacturing sites.-Recognized as the “Go To Guy” when priority deliverables were pending.-Chosen to provide on-site training with Juarez, Mexico design team to increase their skills and improve their adaption of the electrical common part cell process.-Selected to partner on-site with key client on new process implementation allowing them to engage the new electrical common process faster and gain greater acceptance of new product.

Designed and maintained printed circuit boards for Powertrain and Transmission Controllers.-Selected to assist and provide feedback to the developers in troubleshooting to assure functionality of the new electrical common process allowing all product lines to utilize the same common tool set providing a two million dollar savings.

Coordinate all incoming work for Powertrain controllers for Electrical and Mechanical CAD work.-Checked all MCAD work for Powertrain sheet metal, die casting and plastic molded parts prior to release reducing error return rate for all designs.-Developed a quick and easy ESTI-QUEST form for use in determining the type of work, project lead time that would be needed up front of the project start date improving product timing of customer deliverables.-Worked with outside Job Shop contractors to improve their reliability by twenty percent.-Achieved a United States Patent on a Wrap Around Circuit Board Support. Was part of a team in the development and production of a three sided Support Bracket in a clam shell case to prevent vibration failure within three times greater than previous designs. Included underneath fingers to eliminate the board flex during IC-Memcal insertion that would avoid solder defects.

Mechanical layouts and parts detailing using UniGraphics and Applicon Bravo 3 wireframe and solids software.-Various design layouts for Powertrain Engine and Transmission electronic controllers.-Included sheet metal, die-casting and plastic molded component parts.-Detailed part drawings with full workable dimensional data. -Created exploded Assembly drawings to aid in plant operations.-Created engineering Bill of Material lists.-Created Outline drawings with customer embedded guidelines.-Applied designs with G.D. and T Rules with Metrology guidelines to promote design fit and function.-Used corporate standard design Guidelines and Procedures.
