I’m an English teacher and trusted literacy advisor. I teach mostly Chinese ESL but also local students between primary and high school reading, writing, speaking and listening. To ensure I can get the results I am known for, I ask families to pay for and commit to one or two school terms worth of classes in advance. At the moment it's just me in my business, but I have some very talented colleagues who run businesses similar to mine with whom I collaborate.

My work as an IELTS examiner in China involved travelling by train to different cities in southern China and conducting and assessing the IELTS speaking exam as well as marking the writing exam. The British Council also asked me to represent them and give a speech at a national English speaking competition in Hefei.

On a casual, annual, part-time basis, I taught General English, Pronunciation and Email Writing to classes of business executives in the NUBS International Talent Development Program for the Business School. I am told that my interactive, joyful teaching style is very popular with students.

In this fast paced English Training Centre, I had the pleasure of teaching English to all ages of students – from 3-5 year olds to High School leavers. In addition to creating and delivering new classroom materials, I enjoyed training students in pronunciation.

Prepared financial and statistical reports for the main branch.9. Assisted a harmonious team to continue its already good work.
