I am an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Director at Lincoln Financial Group. Identity management encompasses the provisioning and de-provisioning of identities, securing and authentication of identities, and the authorization to access resources, and perform certain actions. While a person has only one singular digital identity, they may have many different accounts associated with them. Each account can have different access controls, both per resource and per solution. My goal is to ensure that any given identity has access to the appropriate applications, databases, networks, etc. within the correct context of their role and responsibilities. I have nineteen years of hands-on technical and leadership experience with cybersecurity, system administration, application support, database administration, data center management, and enterprise storage management. I have a Master's in Information Systems Security from DePaul University and achieved my CISSP certification. I have a passion for education, which is why I am also an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University and Ivy Tech Community College.
