When I came on board Langston Co. in 2013 my duties were social media, graphic design and content management. That expanded rapidly to include B2B communications, photo and lifestyle photo shoots and writing product descriptions. Working with a small team meant being quick on my feet and adaptable to every need. Whether I was running giveaways on Facebook or responding to customer inquiries or complaints, the job required focus, composure and speed. As their stock came from a variety of manufacturers, my job required a firm grasp of the company’s needs and a diplomatic approach.

Cooperhouse is a small web design studio with a nationwide reach. My position as associate allowed me to bring in new clientele and create and manage their graphics and copy. The job required excellent time management, a cooperative spirit and a keen eye for the look and feel of brands.I also helped teach a series of social media workshops, using my years of experience to assist up-and-coming social media managers craft viral posts, take better pictures and run online campaigns.

As a founding co-owner of The Salvage Room, I built a small business from the ground up and worked to overcome a litany of start-up obstacles. I created an online brand presence which quickly led to thousands of social media impressions across all platforms. In addition to designing and maintaining the shop’s website, I used our social media marketing reach to expand sales, connect with suppliers and cement relationships with customers. My graphic design experience was instrumental in the creation of all print and online materials.
