Zonal is the UK’s biggest EPOS and software solutions provider for the Retail and Hospitality industry (Circa £60 million turnover). Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, I was responsible for a green field project to define the next generation technology stack for the Zonal group.

Reporting to the CEO the Head of Technical Projects was an interim position whilst a security and compliance manager was appointed to the group.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, I was focused on developing the growing Product Management and BA function within the Group.The main point of contact for Zonal customers, I spent most of my time discussing roadmaps and helping to ensure that Zonal product strategy was understood and inline with the industry.

Reporting to the Operations Director, I was the voice of the customer within Zonal's growing R&D department. Responsible for the Aztec product line and a growing number of new products, I was part sales man, part consultant, BA, product owner and commercial negotiator...

My role was to be the trusted advisor, and act as the liaison between the customer service, sales teams and development teams.

Reporting to the Technical Director, I was responsible for all 'on and off-site' systems, hardware manufacturing, logistics, security and compliance and the technical services team within Counter Solutions.

The client base includes a host of FTSE multi-nationals and some of the largest Universities in the UK. The company also achieved international success with systems deployed in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany.
