About me? In no particular order, I’m a growing Christian, best bud to my intense 3 year-old son, girl dad to my infant daughter, a devoted husband, a people leader, a technology enthusiast, and a seasoned cybersecurity professional. I also bring the shopping carts back to the cart return when getting groceries. As a avid tinkerer, I am driven by curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement to find solutions to complex problems. I grew up breaking down and rebuilding my hobby items, namely cars, computers, and anything technology related. I hold a strong belief in the value of lifelong learning and continuous education. Training and educating the people around us is how we make ourselves and our organizations incrementally better each day.After serving over 20 years active duty in the US Marine Corps, I’ve picked up a few tenets of leadership that guide my personnel and organizational management style. This career gave me the privilege of leading, coaching, and developing teams of all levels; from direct supervision of 4 individual contributors to directing 7 managers who collectively supervise over 300 personnel. Learning the art and science of leadership and relationships has been my most humbling and rewarding experience.Throughout my professional journey, I’ve successfully and effectively advised executive decision makers, planned and designed solutions to complex problems, continuously evaluated risk/reward trade-offs, and led teams who carried out plans to fruition. Give me a team, a problem to solve, and a desired end state; I will drive all my available resources to create value.
