A self-initiated internship during a semester breaks to get real world exposure as a designer.Exploring not only the working environment as a designer, but specifically marketing to soon-to-be, new or even existing parents with young children. Learning ins and outs of professional communication with vendors and customers. Taking part in events tailored to the community of young parents and providing support in managing and growing the brand on its e-commerce and social media platform.

Self imposed KPI (Keeping People Interested) consists of1. Brand Awareness (greeting customers with “Welcome to Salsas”)2. Increasing marketshare (recommending platters meant to be shared to customers who come in alone, resulting in customers inviting colleagues to help finish their food)3. Product Innovation (offering customers personalisation to orders e.g. coffee served hot or cold)4. Customer Experience (smiling & assisting when customers spill their drinks)5. Building Team Motivation (providing positive affirmation to kitchen staff for the daily lunches that consists of: chicken chop, mashed potatoes, occasional boiled broccoli - 5 days a week)
