Aerospace/Defense. Position reports to VP of Product Assurance. Manage the Supplier Quality team of engineers overseeing all flight/non-flight suppliers that provide material for onsite SEAKR manufacturing. Additionally, manage the Receiving Inspection lab/team qualifying acceptability of parts received for engineering and flight level quality that would be provided to internal/external manufacturing projects. Provide internal/external engineering support for off-site subcontracting. Work with Procurement and Engineering to coordinate best practices/KPI with material control boards. Assist with AS9100 certification/registrar and customer audits. Utilize NASA, IPC 6012/610 & J-STD w/ space addendum to assure best practices used in manufacturing of PCB(A). Onsite audits/qualification and certification and survey management. Perform purchase order approvals for flight parts, process and training creation and approvals. Review mission assurance and other statement of work for subcontracting, perform trouble shelf analysis and CA/PA-RCCA. Performance appraisals, budget requests review and goal management for the department.
