At Design Confidence, being a Fire and Life Safety Consultant, I am responsible for -- Review of architectural and fire fighting plans in accordance with the applicable fire & life safety codes;- Preparation of fire & life safety reports, fire & life safety strategy’s and the provision of proactive technical advice to clients regarding design compliance;- Attendance to meetings as required on a project by project basis, inclusive of meetings with the relevant authority having jurisdiction;- Maintaining a high level of professional responsibility in undertaking the required design review services;- Management of individual projects to ensure each of the necessary client deliverables and achieved;- Ensure a thorough understanding and application of NFPA 101, NFPA 5000, the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code of Practice - 2011, and each of the relevant design standards referenced by the relevant building codes.- The provision of assistance to other staff;- The provision of technical services to clientele in response to engagements received within the Company;- Pro active contribution and participation in the development and growth of the company;- Use of Auto CAD to prepare fire & life safety drawings and / or other similar services;

Fire system designing. Fire Safety Audits, Familiar with IS, BS, TAC, NFPA. Preparation of Audit reports and BOQ.

Senior lecturer at the College of fire technology, lecturing on: fire safety design, fire prevention and protection systems, fire fighting equipment, fundamental of fire. As well as taking practical sessions on breathing apparatus set and rescue techniques.Also advice students attending vocational training as part of the college curriculum and also guide students with their final project reports on their vocational training at various companies.
