I have studied peace and conflict studies both in Japan and the US. I have been teaching part-time at universities mainly in Sapporo, and thinking of starting an initiative to promote restorative justice/practices in Hokkaido. I have been actively involved in peace-related ministry in my Mennonite conference in Hokkaido, and published articles on Christian pacifism and other peace issues.
