About Hiroaki Kitazume

Hiro started his career at Hakuhodo in 2003 after gaining experience in a startup while enrolled at the University of Tokyo. At Hakuhodo, he mainly participated in the digital reform organization and won 15+ big pitches by creating all new brand-planning method from the perspective of customer engagement and ROI-focused marketing centered on interactive areas. In 2010, he moved to the United States to study at Harvard Business School, which he completed in 2011 and acquired Alumni, and also to work at several US based digital agencies such as MarketShare Inc,. After returning to Japan, he decided to join IREP, a Japan based digital agency, to change the landscape of the Japanese marketing industry. At IREP, he devoted all his effort to form two new organizations, Strategic division and Creative division, and became the first CMO of IREP in 2018.
