CuriOdyssey is a nonprofit science museum and zoo, where children can observe wild animals and experiment with scientific phenomena.Every Sunday, I volunteer as a docent/twig to educate children about animals and science behind it.Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific phenomena and artifacts we see in CuriOdyssey.Consistently volunteered weekly for 2 hours, engaging with and addressing a diverse audience of 150 campers and visitors ranging from children to elders.

Recreated and lead the Culture Exchange club, facilitating activities that showcase diverse cultural experiences.Organize clubs, manage club officers/members and Instagram account. Collaborated with other cultural clubs, and made school-wide presentations for Culture Awareness Week which teachers present in their own advisory.Held Cultural Knight, school-wide event that are opened to public, and are able to eat and enjoy variety of cultures.Contributed to the committee responsible for organizing a school-wide event during Culture Awareness week.Culture Exchange club host activities about different culture/background and get to share about them. It is a community where it is a safe place to share about your own culture that you are proud of, and is a great way to make new friends!

I auditioned for Jazz Ensemble before becoming freshman in high school.Jazz Ensemble taught me how to communicate each other without words. It taught me how to stay connected/bonded to everyone because every player is important and have to sync each other to create harmony throughout the songs. Sometimes, I have to play softer, louder, faster, or slower, and it all depends on how our group makes them.Unlike classical piece, Jazz requires a soul. Soul that needs to be understand by listening to others. You can't just read the music but also know your teammate well and adjust to them. Every person has different ways to feel the music, and that's what makes each band unique and fun!I learned that nothing is perfect, and therefore, requires constant change and adaption. Sometimes, you have to follow your own soul and feel.

Through my interview process and my commitment, I joined Hillsdale robotics because I had a strong passion in robotics as well as STEM field! Hillsdale robotics has taught me not only how robots would work, but also how teamwork is very essential in order to achieve for one big goals!Experience: ◉ President (2024): Organize the teammates, maintain status and task, create a plan, preparing for the game (register process)◉ Code-lead (2023-2024): Taught club members how to code in Python from basic to intermediate level for Hillsdale Robotics, and help incoming members learn essential skills they need for Hillsdale Robotics.◉ Secretary (2023-2024): Maintained records of club member activity, documenting agenda and guidelines.

We discuss and demonstrated environmental awareness by attending local environmental event, cleaning the community, and making videos for what and how to recycle.

Japan Society of Northern California offers programs and networking opportunities for people and organizations in the Bay Area with a strong interest in Japan to connect each other. They hosts multiple events that include language lesson, cultural program, conferences, and social events. As an intern, I made advertisement for Japan Society of Northern California's instagram and conferences/programs they offer. I also volunteered in Gala Party, Corporate Event at Plug and Play, and Mobility event to spread awareness about culture and support them to provide bridge between the two distinct cultures.

San Francisco Japanese school is a weekend Japanese school as well as a two week summer school. It starts from 8:30a.m. and ends at 3:15p.m. It is the world's second largest overseas Japanese weekend school in 2006. The school is supported by the Japanese government, and teaches Japanese, math, sciences/social study, which are all in Japanese. Not only do I learn the curriculum, but also learn Japanese culture and the values as well. San Francisco Japanese school are offered through kindergarten to high school, and there are multiple event such as 文化祭、球技大会、運動会。

During Stanford Jazz festivals in summer of 2023, I worked on marketing (photo taking, preparing/setting up for event, managing Facebook, organizing the digital file, video/photo editing)The photos that I took was used in Stanford Jazz Annual Report 2023 as well. I had intern for 4 days of 3-4 hours per week for 3 month period.
