A notable achievement was the development of an automatic program translator, whose automatically-generated code exhibited as good performance as hand-optimized code, using a benchmark program suite widely-used at the time. This achievement led me to a Ph.D. from Waseda University.From Sept. 2000, moving to Business Planning Department, Information & Telecommunication Systems, my mission was business development by exploiting cutting-edge technologies.
