Head RiggerSan Diego Maritime Museum 1984 - 1984I was brought to San Diego by Captain Carl Bowman to oversee the overhall of the rigging on the STAR of INDIA and establish a crew training program for the ship. I brought in crew from the San Francisco Maritime Museum and Texas Seaport Museum to sail the ship for the first time since her maiden museum ship voyage in 1976. We established the crew training and vessel maintenance programs that have enable the vessel to sail every year since 1984.
