Whilst there is emphasis on Identity Management so that we know who is accessing applications, the access via API's needs a lot more attention as the problems are not at all easy to solve. On one hand there is API proliferation, which creates real challenges for testing and on the other hand, the huge volume of API traffic requires scale and speed to protect with minimal false positives.
