Technical Service Representative
Current- Monitor and action Workflow, IDocs, and Customs emails- Research, prepare, and execute any additional documents required to satisfy Other Government Departments, including Transport Canada, ECCC, CFIA, Health Canada, NRCan, Explosives, Etc.- Track down missing documentation- Adhering to timelines such as customs for CADEX confirming and carriers for storage, etc.- Coordinate steamship release and delivery instructions and collect charges where required- Creation and maintenance of SOPs where required- Database management includes answering exceptions and researching information for (HS Tariff,CUSMA, SIMA, Surtax, SWI, etc.)- Maintain and update client notes on research done for various import activities- Assigned to handle and be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients- Providing guidance feedback to those clients on import requirements as required- Monitoring entries for status for CADEX and ensuring entries are confirmed within the prescribed time frame on the TSR portal- Troubleshooting rejects on customs entries for CADEX- Daily communication, verbally or written, with various trade chain partners- Assisting with the preparation of temporary imports, monitoring the re-export of temporary imports to close out E29B entries- Resolving quality control issues when identified- Manage and coordinate client invoice disputes- Prepare all the necessary information required for processing of B2’s for disputes or when an error is identified- Make routine contact with clients to foster good working relationships (email, phone)- Attend industry-related training and webinars for educational purposes to stay current withvarious initiates, ACI, e-Manifest, CARM, SWI, etc.- Acting as a liaison between clients and CBSA when required- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell Cole services- Build and maintain client SOPs or procedure SOPs- Contribute to the development of Broker Linx
