Rhoshan Pharmaceuticals is an early stage life sciences company with one program in clinical development. With enhanced versions of existing drugs, we provide essential early treatment to the acute leading causes of death. As CEO, I oversee financing, partnerships, and strategy for the company, as well as serve on the board of directors. I closed our seed round financing of $5M in 2019 and executed a worldwide licensing agreement with Hyloris Pharmaceuticals in October 2021 for our lead product, RHO-11.

I'm a longtime content creator, having written the blog Hitha On The Go from 2009-2018 and am now focused on Instagram and my highly engaged newsletter. In addition to #5SmartReads, I work with brands such as Athletic Greens, Equilibria, Blue Apron, and KiwiCo to create engaging content that builds brand awareness and drives revenue.I curate #5SmartReads (a 2020 Webby honoree), a daily social share and newsletter that reaches over 100,000 accounts. Each day's links are a healthy mix of current events, healthcare news, and inspiring articles and profiles - predominantly authored and featuring women. My second book We're Speaking: The Life Lessons of Kamala Harris was published by Little, Brown Spark in October 2021 and featured in Forbes, Fortune, VOGUE India, and VeryWell Family. I authored an op-ed for Ms. Magazine based on my book. I'm the author of How To Pack: Travel Smart for Any Trip (published by Clarkson Potter in 2017). It has been released worldwide, translated into German and Italian, and is currently in its 3rd printing with 50,000 copies in circulation. The book has been featured by the New York Times, People, and Elle.

Oversee business development efforts globally of a 30+ product portfolio and contract research & manufacturing services. Focused on partnering generic oncology portfolio in the emerging markets and lead development products in the US & EU. Closed deals valued at $10 million in 2012, $150 million in 2013, and $60 million to date in 2014 in multiple geographies. Spearheaded the emerging markets regulatory and commercial strategy for the company.

Oversee operations for $30 million specialty pharmaceutical company, with a portfolio of 30+ products and four technology platforms. Directly managed five co-development programs from deal closing to regulatory submission. Developed and implemented management systems to oversee 20+ early-stage programs and three late-stage programs.
