I earned my Master's Degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from Indiana University, and I gained valuable experience teaching both Japanese and English at Chonnam National University in Gwangju for one year. Subsequently, I moved to Sendai and taught English at various schools before becoming a full-time teacher for two years. Currently, I am actively engaged in teaching English and English education at Hokusei Gakuen University.One of my most significant achievements at Hokusei Gakuen University was the successful implementation of a short-term overseas language program. From the initial negotiations with partner schools to hands-on chaperoning, I demonstrated my ability to execute the program effectively and efficiently.As an educator, I pride myself on delivering high-quality instruction in all four language skills. From fostering casual conversational abilities to providing professional speech training, I strive to cater to diverse language needs. I also excel in helping students grasp fundamental differences between Japanese and English listening comprehension and addressing phonological variations across English-speaking regions.
