- Participated in a collaborative research project between CIDS and El Paso Water, which included monitoring the water quality of the utility’s wells, as well as designing a solution to prevent their high-recovery membrane systems from being damaged during power outages- Performed water quality tests, tracked laboratory inventory, and maintained equipment

- Participated in field activities such as site investigations, and pilot testing, water quality sampling and lab analyses.- Performed engineering work in various engineering fields (water and wastewater treatment, and engineering services during construction).

- Explored the effects of Winter Storm Uri on the distribution power lines, such as the change in sag and tension due to cold temperatures and higher loading- Assisted the Engineering Team in analyzing data and alerts from the company's SCADA system to identify problems in the electrical grid

- Utilized my experience to mentor first-semester students enrolled in a UNIV course through one-on-one meetings, in collaboration with the instructor of the course- Supported the instructor of the course in grading coursework, communicating with students, and keeping the course’s Blackboard shell up to date

- Conducted a study on the filtration speed of the Kohler Clarity Filter, to determine its usefulness for household-level water treatment in communities (2016)- Assisted engineers in installing water treatment systems, including electric networks, water piping networks and other components of the systems- Translated reports, requisitions, and interview transcripts from Spanish to English. Some of the interviews are available on Water Mission Honduras’s YouTube channel- Supported volunteers/donors from the US as a member of the translation team
