I am a team orientated and enthusiast aquatic biologist/ecologist, with many years experience in marine biology, biological oceanography, Atlantic salmon ecology, freshwater ecology, conservation, contaminants in the food web, and fisheries science.My main areas of research are Atlantic salmon marine feeding, the use of acoustic telemetry in fish tracking studies, and mercury contamination in northern food webs. This may be related to possible changes in the available prey taxa and quality, as there is evidence of changes in the structure of the food web in the Northwest Atlantic which may impact Atlantic salmon.
