Plan, oversee, and provide technical lead for installation, configuration, and upgrade of systems including network and server hardware, vital supporting systems, and monitoring. Creation of IT roles and responsibilities to increase department from 2 employees to over 12 supporting over 900 users in a highly mobile and field-orientated environment. Work closely with vendors and upper management to budget and implement hardware and software systems in line with company objectives. Installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting for over 180 Windows servers ranging from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise clusters in traditional, blade server, and virtual environments.
