Identify, initiate, and engage start-up of new clinical trials. Screen and consent patients for clinical trials. Communicate and collaborate with physicians, clinic staff, and sponsors. Taught sixth grade mathematics, remedial high school mathematics, and American Government according to United States standards. Organized the library and managed spending budget. Created the schedule, compiled documentation for accreditation and performed other administrative tasks as assigned by the director.

Provided guidance, technical support, and classroom lessons to more than 50 teachers participating in the Wetland Nursery Program, Terrapin Project and Restoration of Atlantic White Cedar Project. Organized and taught field trips to Fort McHenry Wetlands and restoration sites for school groups for grades 2nd – 12th. Results: Interacted with approximately 1900 students in 2007-2008 school year which led to 25% increase in knowledge and 20% increase in attitude toward the Chesapeake Bay environment. Lead outreach activities to after school programs. Wrote Wetland Nursery Program newsletter. In conjunction with Maryland DNR, calibrated, deployed, and post calibrated YSI at Fort McHenry Wetlands. Assisted in planting and monitoring of Chesapeake Bay wetland restoration sites. Managed volunteers at planting events. Serve as representative for the Aquarium at the Masonville Cove Environmental Education Center stakeholders’ meetings.

Advised patients on pregnancy options, termination procedure, and HIV/AIDS awareness. Maintained files and followed up with patients after procedure. Observed student teachers and provided feedback and coaching.• Spearheaded the donation and delivery of books, periodicals, and educational materials valued at over $7000 to the Coordinating Center Resource Room. Established library system and trained 2 teachers and 12 students in the library management. Result: 150 teachers and 525 students now have daily access to books and learning aids for the first time.• Designed continuous assessment program and mobilized headteachers, Parent Teacher Association and School Management Committee on importance of periodic testing to measure student progress. Result: 17 schools implemented the program, impacting 3000 students and contributing to a 15% increase in standardized test scores.• Collaborated with village widows’ group to develop vocational training program for area orphans. Mentored group through project design process and wrote successful grant proposal that secured $1000 to purchase sewing machines and supplies. Result: As many as 20 orphans each year receive training that will enable them to become self-reliant.
