Hengkang Wang Email and Phone Number

Hengkang Wang is a final-year Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota (UMN). His research interests span deep and machine learning, computer vision, diffusion models, and inverse problems (image/video restoration). During his Ph.D., Hengkang received the prestigious DSI-ADC Fellowship from UMN and completed applied scientist internships at Amazon Central Machine Learning and Alexa AI. He has published extensively, with papers in top venues such as NeurIPS, TMLR, CVPR, IJCV, BMVC, and ICASSP. Notably, his recent NeurIPS paper on using diffusion models for solving inverse problems sets the SOTA in the field, introducing a novel approach with the potential to revolutionize how DMs are applied to solving inverse problems.
