- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues, from faculty, related to computer systems, software, and hardware.- Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.- Clean up computers., run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.- Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), and other systems.- Managing installation and maintenance of all network devices within the Faculty network.- Rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.- Apply OS upgrades on a regular basis to faculty network devices, and upgrade different administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.- Troubleshoot network & software issues and coordinate them with appropriate staff for problem resolution.- Provide assistance in resolving software, hardware and network related problems.- Assist in equipment set-up and software installation and updates. - Configure computers and laptops for new users. - Oversee inventory of supplies, hardware and software requirements of the faculty and students.- Inventorying and clearing memory induced equipment that are outdated.- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
