My areas of Expertise are as follows:As Project and Piping Lead EngineerPiping design for small to large modifications to the plant• Develop and review piping design basis, technical specifications and engineering design documents such as plot plans, layouts, general arrangements, isometrics, standard drawings and data sheets for different types of valves• Preparation of proposals, calculations and allocation of Man-Hours accordingly• Scheduling of deliverable items, internal and external• Pipe wall thickness calculations and Failure analysis for piping• Construction support, problem solving during construction• Adequate experience with material procurement activities i.e. preparing MRQs, tendering clarifications, technical bed evaluations, review vendor drawings• Perform data consistency check for 3-D models• Identification of Critical Lines under defined rules for Static and Rotary Equipments.• Piping flexibility analysis specification preparation.• Modeling of critical line circuits in Caesar-II Software.• Identifying Supports, Restraints or Special pipe supports for Critical lines.• Preparation of Support Standard with respect to project specifications and requirements.• Using of Expansion Bellows & Hanger Supports and preparing their requisitions & data sheets.• Preparation of Nozzle evaluation sheets for Static and Rotary equipments.• Loading calculations of pipes on structural and grounded supports.• Preparation of the stress isometrics manually and also with the software.• Recommendations to the piping designers to enhance the piping flexibility.• Three months training on Manifa Project at JGC Yokohama, Japan. Enhanced my skills in Flange Leakage Testing and polished my general way of working under ARAMCO & JGC Standards.Currently working as Sr. Piping Engineer in United petrochemical co. an affiliate of SABIC.
