I’ve always obsessed over the hows and whys in life, harnessing that intellectual curiosity in and outside of school, in my military career, as a molecular biologist and for many years in software engineering. Software testing is a rich playground for understanding applications, developing testing scenarios, discovering esoteric defects and then hunting down their root causes. I love being the software gatekeeper and collaborating with developers to release a stable software product that meets the needs of customers. At HCL Technologies and prior to that in IBM, my passion for quality assurance was pivotal in enabling me to implement efficient testing protocols and automation strategies for enterprise-grade applications. My collaborative efforts resulted in key critical release on a timely manner to approximately 5,000 clients, including numerous Fortune 500 companies. Specializing in both automated and manual testing, I optimized QA processes using tools like Jira, and honed my expertise in UI testing and SQL.The continuous improvement ethos drives my work, ensuring that every feature meets the highest standards of functionality and reliability. Embracing agile methodologies and innovative testing methods, I've significantly reduced development time for test cases and scripts. This relentless pursuit of testing excellence underpins my professional journey with ultimate goal to deliver software that exemplifies exceptional user experiences and operational efficiency.Besides having worked in Software industry for past 10+ years, I have also worked in Biotech industry for more than a decade (ask for details) where I played a critical role in developing bench top process to quickly purify DNA which was then adapted to be run by robots. The process was even published and played a huge role in removing a bottleneck to quickly purify DNA fragments so that could be sequenced. I am also a veteran and have served in US Navy and Marine Corps under multiple roles (ask for details) and was awarded numerously.I believe in constantly challenging myself both mentally and physically. This is an ethos that has stuck with me since my military days. I love doing Wordle (700 played so far, 97% success rate), Spelling Bee (NYTimes, get Genius ranking mostly) and Linkedin games almost daily. I have even setup Wordle WhatsApp group where all members daily post our Wordle stats (# of turns it took to solve etc) and encourage each other. It has been going on for more than a year.
