The project includes software development, system upgrade and infrastructure implementation. Project ManagerHired to lead a system development project for a client in the financial services sector in Turkey. The client, one of the biggest banks in Turkey, aimed to replace their 3rd party scanning solution. The project includes software development, system upgrade and infrastructure implementation. Consultant Hired to review and optimise manual operations for an IT company based in London. Reviewed manual operations and recommended improvements related to end user interfaces, back office operations and interactions between front-end and back-end. Technical LeadHired to lead software development team for a BPM (Business Process Management) project. The client, a publisher based in London, aimed to renew their editing and design processes which at the time were mostly manual. A brand new, automated process was designed and developed on BPM solution. All content was stored in ECM system. Project ManagerHired to manage a system development project for a client in the financial services sector in Turkey. The project aimed to develop automated fraud operation processes which at the time were managed manually. The fraud database was designed to gather data from multiple sources. Online integrations with the core system and distributed systems were developed using SOAP web services. Reporting and the integration with the content management system were developed.

Employed to manage system development projects adhering to the bank’s project management methodology aligned with PMI. Mainly responsible for the management of the full project lifecycle, project documentation, process management and automated form processing / data extract systems.Responsibilities:• Manage IT project teams of 5-30 members including developers, database administrators, system administrators, networks engineers, mainframe administrators and app server administrators• Manage software development life cycle (SDLC) including business analysis, design, development, testing, user acceptance testing, plan go live and support afterwards• Use of the bank’s Waterfall-based methodology aligned with PMI methodology• Create and maintain weekly and monthly project status and progress reports• Organise kick-off, change control board, steering committee, project committee and the other project related meetings • Attend weekly work progress meetings to report status and progress of any project to related directors and stakeholders• Identify and control project risks with risk management team and plan risk responses• Manage communications between technical teams and business units in adherence to communication management plan in Waterfall methodology • Run full lifecycle of procurement from contract to close including, monitoring and controlling contract work, following up contract and procurements• Assign tasks to the project team and follow up the status of each task• Keep project documentation up-to-date to establish traceability and ensure project requirements are fulfilled • Manage isolated environments (development, test, pre-production / production systems) and transition between systems• Follow up 3rd party software patches / releases and plan to apply new patches / releases into the bank’s environments • Advise business units and other project teams on implementing and using document management and business process management platform
