I am dedicated to effective enterprise risk management and business continuity planning in order to facilitate successful emergency management during and prompt recovery following a workplace crisis. My goal is to identify and mitigate risks for my employer and plan accordingly for any interruptions that may occur. I am also committed to ensuring a safe work environment through my oversight of environmental, health, and safety programs for my employer.I have 12+ years of EHS experience in the biotech industry. I also have 10+ years experience in business continuity planning and am a certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer. I oversee Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Assessments as well. I recently earned my Master's in Business Continuity, Security, and Risk Management from Boston University (May 2017). I have also earned the following professional certifications: Diploma In Business Continuity (IBCT); Certified Business Continuity Manager (NIBCM) designation; Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), and Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) designation as well. As part of my EHS functions I am responsible for overseeing emergency response for medical emergencies, hazardous material releases, fire, and natural disasters. I am also responsible for coordinating OSHA and EPA compliance activities and associated reporting.I am a member of the Eastern Iowa chapter of ASIS; the Quad Cities chapter of RIMS; Infragard; and Iowa Contingency Planners. I also serve on the Iowa Contingency Planner Board of Directors.
