While working as a podiatric physician, I served on many commitees at our hospital including: advertising, surgical, Diabetes, and CME. I worked with two other physicians and started our CME committee, setting up policies, procedures, monitoring, etc. and chaired the same for several years. I was fortunate enough to be surgical PAC chairman and worked on the MEC of the hospital. I was elected by my peers to be chief of staff. I have been involved in peer review and disciplinary action committees. For the state association, I served as President of the UPMA, secretary/treasurer for 4 years, and board member for a year.I have had several medical speaking opportunities and continue to teach Microbiology, Anatomy at the USU extension in Vernal.
