Technology never sleeps.I am fascinated by how technology has developed over the years. From having a very large computer with minimal usage, it has turned into microcomputer chips that can be implanted in the human body to help us perform our daily routines more efficiently. This is why I chose to pursue a BS in Computer Engineering. I want to develop my logical and critical thinking skills while staying involved in cutting-edge technology. Hopefully, someday soon, I could create an "art" that can inspire the next generations.There's an art behind technology!And that's when it happened. I thought that I could do business with my thesis "Analog Film Scanner for Chest X-ray" (can detect tuberculosis in analog and digital chest X-rays using Machine Learning), but I did not have enough knowledge and budget to pursue my goal before.My career path starts on Nature Spring as IT Staff where I develop my troubleshooting skills for hardware and software, also doing a lot of administrative staff in their SAP. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and tried programming for my second job. Systems Engineer in Indra (Meralco) where I fell in love with Java programming language. We're doing development and support on test and production environments for 13 mobile and web applications for Meralco employees, using Java, PSQL, SQL, Batch Scripting, RPA, Salesforce Administration/Development, Apex, Linux Administration, GCP, etc. We also do maintenance on our servers. This was the time when I felt that my work was in line with the latest technology trends. But the pandemic has come and I need to find a remote job to avoid commuting every day and to have less interaction with other people because of Covid.Currently, I have a remote job as an Application Specialist in Signant Health focusing on my DevOps path. So far I have Java, C#, Python, SQL, Apex, SOQL, SOSL, C++, HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST API, and manual and automation testing under my belt. I’m still enthusiastically grabbing onto any other programming languages, frameworks, or principles I can integrate into coding different components in my head.My specialties also include quickly learning new skills and programming languages, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills, and being attentive to details and accuracy. I love solving complex problems and watching my implementations work. Learning new skills intrigues me, I’m moldable and like to be out of the box, but I still keep my creative flare intact.
