Teaching Associate will assist in the teaching of courses and tutorials, in laboratory instruction and in grading of students' work. They will help with the preparation of teaching materials and assist in academic counseling for students. Teaching Associates will also be required to assist in handling and coordinating duties related to the teaching programs of the Department.

CSE Entrepreneurship Club (CSE E-Club) is a platform for connecting aspiring IT entrepreneurs at HKUST. In 2014-16, he worked with students to launch Hackathon@HKUST (hackUST). The competition provides a platform to connect participants from various backgrounds to team up and develop software/hardware prototypes. hackUST was published in Hong Kong Economic Journal, Sing Tao Daily, Oriental Daily, StartsUpHK, HKUST Annual Report, 25A Exhibition at Library, and various newsletters at HKUST.

SIGHT stands for Student Innovation for Global Health Technology. He serves as one of the advisors in SIGHT. His key contribution is to advise a software team to develop an electronic health record system for a NGO in Cambodia. The software team is driven by students from CSE, business, and social science. The Undergraduate Advising Team at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is established to advise our students on their study plans and academic progress. Students are encouraged to contact their academic counselors to explore issues such as academic interests, personal aspirations, study pathways, course exemptions, credit overload/underload, etc. For UAP students, they must consult their academic counselors on their study matters.

When students join the School of Engineering, they are placed into one of nine “clans” whose members include a mix of local, mainland, and international first year engineering students, as well as upper-year peer mentors and faculty members. Faculty advisors will meet individually with each student throughout the year to discuss his/her academic interests, major preferences, and adjustment to university life.

AngelHack Ambassadors help run various AngelHack events. My role is to help organize AngelHack Hong Kong. Duties include sponsorship engagament, pre-event organization, on-site event management, and post-event follow up.
