About Heather Langford

A problem-solver and designer by nature, I bring 20 years’ experience as a sustainability strategist. I have worn many hats through a successful history in start-up nonprofits, and learned the value of flexibility, adaptation, and collaboration. Early on, I developed a specialty in the field of urban ecology -- an advancing discipline that recognizes the built environment and the humans who occupy it as integral ecosystem components. As an urban sustainability expert, I bring a deep understanding of the pieces needed to create healthy, sustainable buildings and communities and how that can scale to a global level.
