• Draft, review, and negotiate major contracts and resolve contractual disputes through private negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or via litigation.• Handle all facets of litigation, case management, contract drafting and corporate matters, client management, business leadership, and supervision and mentoring of junior associates. • Advise on wide range of corporate and commercial issues, including entity formation, corporate meeting and record requirements, data privacy, employee discipline and termination, FMLA issues, intellectual property (copyright and trademark), employment discrimination, employee manuals, employment procedures, prevailing wage, real estate acquisition, commercial leasing, and unlawful detainer.

Hired as associate attorney and advanced to partner for long-established firm for appeals, commercial law, and construction litigation.

• Served as a summer law clerk in the Violent Crimes Division to support two trial attorneys. • Performed legal research and drafted responsive briefs in two appellate cases,, participated in plea bargain negotiations, interviewed witnesses, and drafted numerous summations to assist in trial preparation.

• Oversaw day-to-day operation of estate winery and event facility. • Led employment oversight (hiring, firing, and training), budget and forecasting, marketing (promotions, advertising, event coordination), legal compliance, and other key strategic business initiatives.

• Initially began as server and quickly advanced to manager and general manager to direct operations of multi-unit fine dining restaurant group. • Led all employee management, customer service, marketing, budgeting and forecasting, inventory control, and public outreach.
