In my role I am responsible for:- Providing strategic and tactical leadership in capacitating and coordinating South African Civil Society Organisations (including labour), as key actors in climate change governance. - Facilitating the creation and functioning of innovative multi-stakeholder partnerships and coordinating with Civil Society Organisations and existing networks. - Capacitating the next generation of climate activists and climate policy advocates by supporting the functioning of Youth Climate Champions (YCC) Programme for facilitating strong youth engagement in climate policy processes. - Building strategic alliances with Civil Society Organisations, youth and gender-based organisations. - Organising project activities such as knowledge building webinars, seminars workshops, etc.

My work focused on working with local government in South Africa around sustainable energy and alternative energy approaches for low-income communities, including project implementation of municipal and small business energy services partnerships. I also provided support to C40 member cities in South Africa to achieve city-wide implementation of policies and programmes to deliver low and zero carbon buildings to amplify individual city solutions.I have been responsible for coordinating large, multi-year programme supporting Sub-Saharan African cities' transition to a sustainable energy future through strategy development, implementation, and knowledge exchange.
