My position was centered around sustainability and creating a quality assurance scheme for the Greenlandic tourism industry. I undertook communication with international agents and stakeholders, to support responsible tourism development. I advised local operators in business development based on a responsible business model and the SDGs.

My daily work involves many stakeholders, from politicians to consumers and the private sector. I am glad to communicate and settle a strong network - in order to make a difference.

Experienced tour leader and coordinator of tourism in Greenland, I operate travel groups in various sizes from hiking groups to expedition vessels. I have been given special emphasis to the Arctic biology and environmental management. I can draw on experience, also from being part of a project on jet fuel degradation in contaminated soil from Station Nord.

As a volunteer at Forests of the Wold, I have followed the debate of tropical forests as a mitigation tool (REDD+) closely in the political arena at international negotiations to ensure a sustainable and inclusive process for the indigenous peoples living in and with the forest.This is done in collaboration with a dedicated group of co-volunteers - we are ensuring that forests and reduced deforestation is on the political agenda and that Denmark takes the needed actions and engages in projects that preserves forests and the rights of Indigenous peoples.

The projects where within the Environmental and Energy sector and varied from Technical Assistance to Feasibility Projects in the western Balkans and central Asia.I conducted an Environmental Management Plan in relation to a implementation project for Zhytomyr District Heating.
