Development – Responsible for Concepts, Prototypes, Design and Manufacturing of Accessories and Processes in order to Manufacture Parts.• Create and Test New Product Designs and Formulate Manufacturing Specification• Conduct Product Research which includes identifying the needs and goals for a new product from functional design to aesthetics.• Create design using Computer-Aided Software and Fabricate models that can be tested.• Creating the design or converting the supplied design into formats that can be used to machine produce moulds, CNC Tube & Plate bending, Laser cutting, robotics (welding, plasma cutting, polishing).• Reverse Engineering of models for new designs and developments.• Research and Analyze different materials, Manufacturing Processes, Design tolerances and other factors in the development Process.• Set up, conduct and operate sinusoidal vibration testing for new product and compile a report.• After refining and reviewing initial design, then deliver specifications and procedures to manufacturing teams in order for production to begin.• Designing of all necessary Jigs for production team to manufacture.Fitment – Responsible for fitment of the prototype and off-tool products on the vehicles.• Conduct Fitment of product as required, maintaining safe working conditions.• Ensuring the vehicle is protected from damage in any form

Fabrication – Responsible for fabricating any Research and Development product developments, prototypes, designs, and for manufacturing purposes.• Working under the Research and Development department.• Receiving and Reading Engineering CAD drawings from R&D, Interpret the information and conduct work efficiently.• Assembly and build new design products for prototyping, off-tool samples products.• Assist Research and Development with fitment for new development.• Assembly, build and repair Jigs for manufacturing purposes.• Welding materials – TIG, MIG, ARC welding and cutting materials with the use of a manual Plasma cutter and manual cutting Torch or Oxy-Fuel Gas cutting Processes.• Mechanically cut, drill and punch fabrication material.• Practicing 5s for a good working environment and housekeeping in the workshop.
