In other words, it is art of the irregular or unusual.Raven is an Očhéthi Šakówiŋ Indigenous American, a proud grandmother of 5 and local to Springfield, Illinois. A diversive freelancer, Raven has worked with a wide variety of subjects and media in the genre of unconventional art and design, alongside wide and varied interests such as personal PC repair & consultation, mentorship, research, administrative, environmental and humanitarian projects. Raven is currently serving the Springfield Immigrant Advocacy Network as an administrative volunteer coordinator. Raven has been a disaster response volunteer since 2014, and served in NGO as an ERT-S (Emergency Response Team support) with duties that include, but are not limited to, helping with data research, resources, logistics, remote dispatch, assessments and work process design. The experiences in serving those in crisis to major disasters and during the pandemic are an inspiration in that no matter what limitations you might have, there is always something that can be done for another, resulting in connection, healing and growth that reaches toward hope.Her recent creations centered on environmental health awareness and humanitarian efforts locally & globally.
