Computer Science has been my passion from childhood. I was always the "tech" person in my family and among my friends. I still remember learning Java in 9th class. TheNewBoston was my favorite teacher. Nothing gained my interest but programming. Since then, I have been learning new technologies popular in the industry. My web development journey started in Feb 2020 where I opted for a ReactJS Course. With no knowledge of basic HTML/CSS I headed towards React. Obviously, I couldn't write any code. So, yes React was the first tech stack I laid my hands on. Then there was no stopping in this ride. I learnt way more React than the course offered. I just completed the course for the certification. I went on learning NextJS which is a fantastic framework on React. Worked in two startups as a frontend web developer which enhanced my frontend skills a lot. Next, I went on to explore Back-end tech stack. In few months I was pretty well-versed with NodeJS and were able to create decent level of backend system with MongoDB. Gradually, I got more inclined towards creating APIs and performant backend servers over frontend dev. I went onto learn Elasticsearch to increase my skill set. Worked on two large scale projects using ES and Node/MongoDB. Next, in the line was Socket.io which was a need of a Freelance project. So, I learnt that. I liked the concept of Web Sockets. Therefore, I created my own NPM package to ease me in the setup of a chat app in future. Now I can proudly call myself a Full - Stack developer. I have done few commercial development projects and I have an enough experience. There's still a lot to build and learn. JavaScript creates endless opportunities. I am on my journey to be a great Web Developer!
