Currently leading a team of SDETs in an OTT development and deployment environment, working with offshore and onshore development teams, creating Cypress test Automation for API endpoints and UI applications. Brought together SDET testers from several development teams and created and lead the automation team that developed a BDD advanced Natural Language framework, capable of testing API and web browser calls all from the text retrieved from JIRA, eliminating the need to synchronize Test cases in the Test case manager and automated tests, as well as speeding up automated test development. Later implemented a Cypress framework for GUI and API testing bringing in standards from other groups within STARZ to minimize redundancy in code development and to start building a cross company standard. Continue to report to the business the testing process and refine processes, as the team was expanded to include offshore groups, and while mentoring new hires to the QA team, both manual and automation testers.Collaborate with Development teams on new projects in development, to define the testing scope and resource needs, while continuing to advise on current projects through deployment and maintenance of production code. Work with the automation team through Agile, using Jira, to create predictable, as promised deliveries, sprint over sprint. Building tools to speed up the testing needs of an OTT environment, such as finding ways to reduce the need for re-processing media for test environments, and finding better ways to test internal tools for tracking media assets.I am focused on advancing reporting to the business of code coverage and quality of new production code produced, while expanding areas of test, and new automation code development, with predictable, and reliable delivery of coverage, reporting, and new development. Advise and train on best test practices, and work with developers to create TDD for all new code.

Driving Quality towards the center of Convercent. I have architected the current automation and CI/CD solutions for Test Automation at Convercent, using Selenium, C#, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, and more. I lead an Agile team, planning out long term, medium term , and short term goals for the direction of the team, and work tightly with other groups such as DevOps, QA Feature Testers, and Feature developers. I believe in pushing Test Automation to the center of DevOps, and make testing an integral part of all deployments. I report directly the Director of QA, and keep other teams up to date on data such as schedules, test results, and any issues ( process, personnel, technical ) that may arise, with potential solutions. I regularly report on various aspect of the progress of the work within the team to higher management. I also mentor other teams on the care and feeding of the automation infrastructure, development, and frameworks / tools. I have also built performance test systems and tests to help the Feature Developers and DB developers vastly improve the speed and reliability of the Convercent system, over the last 3+ years. I have implemented JMeter and Microsoft Web performance tools to measure performance over many runs. and report appropriately to product management and development leadership.

Working in an Agile environment, I am a Developer responsible for building out C#/MSTest load test infrastructure utilizing VisualStudio 2012 against Nirvanix's cloud storage Solution utilizing both SOAP and REST APIs. Developed caching databases in both SQL 2012 and MongoDB, to be able to track all metadata sent to and retrieved from the cloud with the code behind utilizing T-SQL, Linq and ADO.NET. Working on the next generation storage vault utilizing ZFS and FreeBSD 9.x, as well as several other projects based on Open Source technologies.

Created the Web Service automation tests using MSTest and C# in Visual Studio 2010, as well as Python and JAVA in Eclipse using the SOAP interface. Responsible for executing and reporting on the tests run against new web services services as they became available based on the agreed upon API from development. Deep file system knowledge utilized in testing the kernel level driver for LogRhythm's Windows Real Time File Integrity Monitor Driver. Wrote tools using C#/.NET needed to be able to test the more challenging aspects of NTFS such as Locked file tests and security streams. Currently coding in C# and working heavily with SQL 2005 and SQL 2008, as well as integrating with Microsoft Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007. Developed code utilizing C# and C++, protecting Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010 in both simple and complex DAG environments, utilizing VSS and remote WMI commands that would allow agentless protection of Exchange server data in both physical and virtual environments, while maximizing the dedupluication of the data protected. Developed an agentless protection solution for SQL 2005 and 2008 utiliziing VSS, SMO, and WMI in C# for solutions for archiving and protecting SQL in Virtual, Physical, and clustered environments. Developed a Live Windows based CD Disaster Recover solution for Windows 2008, and 2008 R2 to allow revovery of a physical or virtual machine from a local RDX deduplication store, or from a remote dataStore server.
