Heidi Einarson (pronounced with a long "A" at the beginning) doesn't usually correct people on how to say her Icelandic last name nor is she actually Icelandic. She grew up south of Seattle, WA, in the suburb of Kent plagued by allergies to almost everything in the outdoors and feeling like she didn't fit in with everyone around her. When she was in preschool, her teachers thought some day she might grow up to be the next Roger Ebert. Not one to be tied down to one medium, Heidi currently spends her time in and out of theaters, seeing musicals and plays and writing about them on her blog, Here's What I Thought, and is crossing over into film and TV territory.Though she's enjoying writing reviews, Heidi has training to be a screenwriter and when she's not working or reviewing, she's dreaming up all those worlds she wished she could travel to when she was growing up. Some of her previous outings as a writer in competitions, earned her a Finalist spot in the Spotlight Screenwriting Contest. With her former writing partner, she was also a second rounder two years in a row in the Austin Film Festival competition in the spec script category and original hour-long television categories. She's looking forward to joining her interests in the paranormal, cryptozoology, and fantasy to create original films, series, and perhaps even plays some day.By day, she works hard as a payroll assistant at Universal Studios Hollywood, ensuring the thousands of team members employed there are paid correctly, the first time.
