Heidi joined Veeam in 2013 as the Manager of North American Public Relations and Analyst Relations. Within 12 months, she was promoted to Senior Manager of Corporate and Americas PR and currently serves as Director of Global Public Relations on the Corporate Communications team. Heidi is responsible for managing Veeam’s relationships and visibility with media and influencers, and continuing to increase Veeam’s global media footprint. Working in partnership with Veeam’s executive, corporate communications, marketing and sales teams, Heidi drives Veeam’s public relations strategy, executing a multi-faceted approach that positively impacts overall awareness of the Veeam brand and increases sales. Heidi has also created, built, and executed the media and analyst programs for VeeamON, Veeam’s annual end-user and partner conference, since its inception in 2014. Aggressive media outreach resulted in securing 165 total media, analysts, and influencers representing more than 35 countries at VeeamON 2017. During the event, more than 380 media and analyst briefings were conducted in just two days.With 20 years of industry experience, Heidi has been instrumental in building several Indianapolis companies. She was a co-founder and VP of BLASTmedia, a top 20 PR agency in the US specializing in consumer and B2B technology media relations, which employed more than 20 people in Indianapolis and San Francisco at the time of her departure. Heidi then became the first marketing employee at Scale Computing in Indianapolis where she helped start and launch the company. Her role expanded from PR and analyst relations to also include coordination of Scale’s channel program, adding more than 300 channel partners, 20 awards, and launching a UK presence. Heidi’s work as the Senior Director of Corporate Marketing helped Scale raise $26 million in VC funding within 7 months.
