In my daily job I developed processes to etch and deposit thin films for the applications team and for customers. This involved evaluating data and extracting trends to effectively tune the process to meet customer requirements. During my time here I gave a presentation on 'Recent Developments in PECVD' at the California Institute of Technology, and a presentation on 'Plasma Processing' at Oxford University. In addition to my daily role I also took part in the Early Careers Programme where I learnt about high impact feedback, communicating with impact, effective collaboration and the basics of project management. I also completed a business project as part of a team investigating the most effective way to collect and present KPI data across the various Oxford Instruments companies.
