The deviation of Lift force implies that a similardeviation for the drag force on both cylinders. The effects of Reynolds number and gapspacing are treated in some detail. All the available data on measured forces are compiledtogether with additional measurements in the range of intermittent changes of drag and liftforces. The flow pattern around each cylinder produces three alternative values of the dragforce coupled with two alternative values of the lift force with three gaps. Main finding arethat the drag force have inverse relation with the gap spacing. The maximum drag forceacting when we have gap spacing of 0.5W between any two tandem cylinders. Drag forcehave direct relation with the Reynolds number. With increasing of Reynolds number the dragforce also increased. Drag force decreases as size of cut corner increases. Show less
