I am a DevOps Engineer looking to continue developing my skills in this field. I have tried various areas, such as Development and Testing, but I found that I enjoyed working with automation and supporting the stability of product development the most. I discovered this while working at GlobalLogic, where I also developed my communication and teamwork skills. Through my experience, I realized the importance of having expertise as initially, I would often rely on Google to complete different tasks. However, with time, I became more proficient and working became more comfortable.My knowledge of IT began in the 8th grade when I started programming in Turbo Pascal. In university, I studied Visual Basic, and throughout my education, I helped many of my classmates, providing explanations of how and why things work.I chose DevOps as it aligns with my pursuit of operational excellence and delivering tangible business outcomes. With its emphasis on automation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and ongoing learning, DevOps enables me to maximize efficiency in software delivery, foster effective teamwork, identify optimization opportunities, and stay updated with industry trends. By embracing DevOps, I am equipped to drive impactful results and contribute to the success of organizations.On my latest project, I optimized the infrastructure update process by proposing to replace servers with updated ones. Before the production update, I created a clone server and conducted a test update to minimize problem-solving time in case issues arise. My proposal was to replace the production server with the clone after successful updating, which helped minimize downtime during the update.I enjoy suggesting optimization of infrastructure and development processes, discussing it with experts. During my studies, I created simple infrastructures on AWS using Docker, Terraform, and Ansible. I also deployed a website to an S3 Bucket with automated deployment through GitHub Actions.I completed a Python marathon from GoIT and did all homework assignments in 1-2 hours despite not having prior experience with the language. I learned the main syntax quickly.Currently, I am developing my skills in cloud technologies and plan to obtain AWS certificates. My priority for future development is to learn Python to write scripts as it offers more possibilities than Bash. I am also interested in microservices architecture and plan to learn Kubernetes. I aim to enhance my knowledge of cloud technologies by becoming familiar with GCP while continuing to expand my AWS knowledge.
