CurrentHenry serves as the primary point of contact with the University of Maryland, College Park responsible for implementing the NextGen Energy Program in coordination with Facilities Management and other members of UMD’s administration and larger community.NextGen replaces, renews and modernizes UMD's aging energy system which will drive student, faculty and staff productivity, and allow UMD to continue to invest in world-class research, attract the best talent and boost the economic well-being of the region and the state.Continuing UMD's 20-year, cutting-edge approach to providing creative and sustainable energy solutions through public-private partnerships, UMD has contracted with Maryland Energy Impact Partners, which includes Plenary Americas US Holdings Inc., Kiewit Development Company, Kiewit Power Constructors Co, and Honeywell International, Inc., a group of experienced operators, to design, engineer, finance and install energy system improvements and also manage, operate, and maintain UMD's energy systems moving forward.
