Responsible for overall growth of the organization with focus on good governance, brand building and corporate relations at National and International levels. The organization pursues Social Venture Philanthropy (SVP) as a working model which replicates business principles in our work practices to achieve philanthropic goals. I strengthen the model that encourages community participation in resource mobilization for sustainability of its local projects. Program/Project management, fundraising strategies and donor nurturing occupy my key attention for long-term support to existing programmes and expansions.Lead a bandwidth of over 300 employees located in 6 regional offices engaged in program implementation of projects worth over Rs. 20 crores at national level.Fund raising through corporate, PSUs, SMEs, foundations and individuals form a significant place in my KRA for the purpose of building robust organizational revenue. Good governance in terms of financial management, internal- external evaluations, project audits and regulatory compliances invite my priority attention for donor’s confidence and successful running of the programs. Represented the organization at various forums including print and electronic media on issues like CSR, Child Rights and Right to Education.Facilitate business planning, development programs, HR management, due diligence and evaluation processes in the organization.Annex medium and large scale funding from PSUs and high profile private business houses to maximize organizational capacity and business value.

Joined hands with a Delhi based National level two-decades old NGO, Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre Society, in the year 2003 as Advisor (Marketing) to bring managerial and developed management practices as a felt-need to compete with the best National and International organizations in the development sector in India.Appointed as Director of a newly carved out unit of Prayas known as “Prayas Institute of Economic Empowerment” (PIEE) in the year 2005 to work for youth and women from deprived communities addressing socio-economic plight emerging from poverty, illiteracy, violence and allied odds prevalent in slums in Delhi and in Rural pockets of Bihar, Assam, Gujarat, Arunachal Pradesh, Haryana and Andaman Nicobar Islands where Prayas has extensive presence in communities. Brought in projects worth Rs.25 crores from major corporate/ PSUs like IOCL, Microsoft, ONGC, Tech Mahindra etcTook over as Director, Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre Society, Delhi in year 2008, handling over 500 employees all over the organization, covering about 35 – 40 projects related to children, youth and women. The work domain entailed program development and management, advocacy, policy-level interface, national level study, Corporate-NGO partnership, NGOGovernment partnership- all to leverage community-based programs at ground level.

Worked in National and International organizations like Avery India Ltd.,Usha International, Bajaj Electricals, Royal Enfield Ltd.,Eicher Motors LtdThe last marketing assignment was for Eicher Ltd. (1990-2003) as Zonal Head-Eastern India for multiple products, which entailed administrative, marketing, and financial management of the company's business in Eastern India.
