After being transferred to the staff of the Medical Hold Company, I met severly injured Soldiers and their families at the Soldier's hospital bedside for inprocessing and advisement. Asided from creating permanent and temporary change of station orders, I also assisted Soldiers in navigating their personnel records. In early 2007, I advised the Brigade Commander and senior staff at the Pentagon of Standard Operating Procedure that had been followed up to that point in absence of regulation of Medical Hold Units and ways in which the procedures could be improved upon.
